Lock Bumping: I had not seen nor heard of such a thing as lock bumping until a friend was kind enough to share this video with me. I am most definitely going to reconsider the “lock situation” around our home, and most likely make some changes.
I had no idea how easy it is for a person to gain entrance into your home in such a tiny amount of time. This news station did an in depth study on the growing problem of the crime of lock bumping, and found that even a child can gain entrance into a home in seconds.
Take the time to watch this video. It’s about three minutes long, but could save you thousands in what you could lose during a burglary. Protect yourself from the thieving criminals just waiting to prey on the unsuspecting.
