Homecoming for HMS York - Mirror.co.uk
PETTY Officer Nigel Watts is given a hero's welcome home yesterday.
His son Henry, three, and daughter Betty, five, were there to greet him off the battleship HMS York after it docked at Portsmouth.
The ship set off for the Falklands in February but diverted to Libya.
She delivered medical equipment and evacuated refugees to Malta, then sailed to the South Atlantic.
Following his five-month tour, Leading Seaman David Gee embarked on another engagement... after Gemma Potter agreed to his wedding proposal.
